Thursday, July 19th, 2007Ndividual
Friday, July 13th, 2007Highsnobiety reports:
“Just recently we showed you the New Balance x Foot Patrol collaboration with the interchangeable N logo on the side. The idea was certainly well perceived and here at Bread & Butter Barcelona, New Balance unveiled for the first time the Ndividual Concept that shows that there is much more to it in the future.
For Spring/Summer 2008 New Balance will be dropping the Ndividual collection consisting of three sneakers that come in white, black and grey and stay very basic. The one thing that makes them stick out is the fact that they each come with several N logos that are interchangeable. They come with camouflage and neon colored N logos.”

Monday, July 9th, 2007W410J GY, NP, SY Womens Japanese 410
Thursday, July 5th, 2007Here’s some Japanese NB heat for the women. These satin/suede 410s are out now at NB Japan although you’ll probably need a hookup to get them shipped outside of Asia.
The silk material printed with a bamboo grass leaf motif makes these stand out a bit from the regular unisex 410.

M990EX BK Black Limited Edition
Thursday, July 5th, 2007Out now at Mita is a limited edition black/purple 990. This was previewed about three months ago and said to be a tribute to Japanese console games.
Note the black patent leather, perforated purple suede and embroidered logo on the heel. The new pics show white instead of multicolor laces, a welcome change considering how busy the colors are elsewhere.
In the technology department the shoe features a 3/4-length ABZORB EX sole (hence “990EX”) for shock absorption. ABZORB EX is the combination of NB’s premium ABZORB foam material and an outside air bubble.
These will set you back approx USD $120.

NB 1500 x La MJC x Colette
Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007Established in 2001, Parisian communications agency and all-around urban trend setter, La MJC is celebrating its 6th birthday this summer. To mark the occasion, it is releasing another New Balance 1500 with Colette. This one is made in the UK and limited to 190 pairs worldwide. Release date is July 7th exclusively at the Colette shop in Paris and online at Sold Out.
Notable is the heavy use of “black carbon” material from the Flimby UK factory, matched with the gray suede that is the hallmark of NB running sneakers. For the first time the 1500 will feature an all-fuchsia sole to match one of the dominant colors on lamjc.com. Included in the package are both black and fuchsia laces. The lining and inner sole are made of black leather for added comfort and style.
